Superior Guest House. Excellent facilities in a large bedroom with a spacious balcony. Wonderful views of The Heads and looking down onto Knysna centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Evening meal recommendations most useful.

Amazing location with a fantastic host who makes your stay unforgettable · The property is beautifully located at the top of Knysna hill with gorgeous views, safe onsite parking and large, well lit and super clean rooms. The breakfast is great and the pool and jacuzzi are a lovely treat on a hot sunny day and a great cool down area after a day trip out. But what makes this place truly a pleasure to stay at, is the host Tess and her very friendly and helpful staff. Tess is a welcoming, genuine and simply wonderful kind hearted person who takes a lot of pride in her work and accommodation wanting to ensure you feel completely comfortable and well looked after. She was in touch regularly before we arrived giving us advice and offering to help out with any tips and reservations. During the stay she made us feel right at home, truly like visiting family. We will definitely be back and stay longer to enjoy this beautiful guest house and host. Thank you Tess & team
This guesthouse feels like your second home and is only a 5 minute drive to the waterfront! Tess and her staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived till the end. Rooms are very clean and breakfast is tasty! We will definitely come back here if we plan to visit Knysna again!
The guest house is a lovely place with big and clean rooms. Tess and the guys were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very delicious. We would stay there again next time. Thank you for the great time.
Nice and clean house, friendly staffs, and great location with the view. it's a great stop for my family after the trip to the Kruger National Park, we do enjoy the view and recommended seafood at the waterfront.
Stayed 5 nights in the executive "Happiness" suite with awesome views of the Knysna Lagoon. Everything was super comfortable, spacious and clean. Tess and her staff (Mike, Mike 2 and ?) made our stay an absolute joy, parking was easy, breakfast was very homely, and the views always spectacular. We'll be back!
Staying at Atlantic guest house was very nice. The property manager, Tess, was very helpful in terms of advising on new places to visit. The breakfast was good. The beds were very comfortable & the bathroom was very clean.The property is protected by a security system which makes you feel safe. I will definitely stay with Tess at Atlantic guest house if I visit Knysna again.
I booked this guest house because of a recommendation of a colleague and I was totally satisfied. A new building close to the beach with view over the bay, modern furnished (I like this stile). Big open room for breakfast and come together with large windows where you have also a great view over the bay. Breakfast was perfect, kindly service. Here you can stay for more than one day and relax.
Wonderful view over the lagoon of Knysna. Excellent service, Delicious breakfast. Outstanding beach in nearby Brenton on Sea. Very good restaurants in Knysna harbor, try: '34 Degrees South'! Forget time!
We had a really good experience at the Atlantic Guest House. The room was lovely, neat, modern and very relaxing. The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back there.
Perfect overnight stay! We had a (too) short but excellent time staying at Atlantic Guesthouse. A nice room with a comfortable bed, wonderful views, great breakfast and a perfect host (Tess, the owner).....you couldn't expect more.
We stayed here 3 nights, had a suite of two rooms and bathroom with amazing views over the lagoon and opening out onto the terrace with plunge pool. Tess the manager was very friendly and welcoming as were all her staff. She arranged a driver, Ken, to take us up and down the hill to restaurants. Breakfasts excellent, would thoroughly recommend
This house feels like your home in two seconds. Tess have us a really warm welcome. She takes time to have a talk and shows real interest in her guests. Rooms are spacious en very clean. Breakfast was excellent, ofcourse also thanks to all the staff members. The house has one of the best views in Knysna. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends. I just can't find enough words to say how fabulous this place is, the views, the staff, the breakfast, the rooms, the hot tub and then there's Tess. What a lovely lady, nothing was too much trouble for her, she booked us in to a fabulous restaurant the anchorage, arranged the taxi for us. This has to be the best guest house we have stayed in during our holiday in South Africa and it deserves all its accolades - it's just fantastic try it you won't be disappointed. Well done Tess and staff. We will return x
Tess the manager and her staff went out of their way to help us make the most of our visit. We had a lovely suite of rooms opening onto the terrace with stunning views over the lagoon. The guesthouse is immaculate and every need catered for. Delicious breakfasts. Tess arranged restaurant bookings and a driver for us every night - it’s just a bit too steep a hill to walk back up! I can highly recommend a stay here.
Tess and the boys made our stay very welcome. We stayed in the honeymoon suite with stunning views across Knysna towards the Heads. Breakfast was perfect and the mushrooms were memorable. Would certainly stay again if in this area. Everyone was so helpful.

The Guest House has a nice and quiet location with a wonderful view over Knysna. The two rooms we have had were amazing, lots of space, great shower and lovely bath. Parking was very easy and WIFI connection was great. The breakfast was delightful. Tess provided us with everything we needed. I can highly recommend this place. It is not possible NOT to like it.
Very nice guesthouse with fantastic views, friendly staff, excellent service, great hints from host. Leave your car in the guesthouse and enjoy the friendly driver recommended to get around Knysna. Lots of insights.
The best breakfast we have ever had during the trip, and the unique view for lagoon. The owner Tess and the staff are warm and helpful. I believe Atlantic Guest House is the best guest house in Knysna.
